Great pointers Sarah!! I picked up plenty of useful tips to implement on my blog and I am liking the way it’s turning out.
Just a question, would you be able to do a post on how to create an ‘about me’ photo badge just like the one you have on the side widget?

Hi – you would need to use HTML to add social media buttons to the side. Do a google search and you will find a lot of tutorials! And check out the posts linked above to find great social media icon resources 🙂

This is so nice and helpful of you to write! How do I add those light green/blue facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc. buttons you have under #3 on my sidebar? I don’t see something like that on Blogger’s gadget options…

great info Just found your site and signed up to follow as lots of good information
I had my posts at quite a bit of length and now reduced to about to match side bar items
