In reply to Jen C. Oh no! I would contact cricut about the blade and as for not cutting all the way through, make sure to check the cuts before unloading your mat and hit cut once more as many times as needed.

So I have tried cutting two pieces tonight and the first one cut nicely but did not go all the way through. The second attempt my blade broke with only 8 minutes to go. It’s still did not go all the way thru! What suggestions do you have?

Hi Marilyn – the deep cut blade is good for thicker materials but not this thick. You will want the knife blade for this project 🙂

Hi. I haven’t used my knife blade yet, but wanted to ask….if I use printable vinyl to print and cut a design, and then cut the shape from Cricut Chipboard, is this a suitable way to make add a design to a wooden shape? Thanks
