These are great ideas! I have my photos organized almost exactly as you do (chronologically, by year and month). My daughter is a senior and I am torn on whether to do short books for each year as a collection or one large book. As I type this, I wonder if it would be less overwhelming to do one year at a time, but is a "collection" a little over the top?:) I have made many books with Shutterfly over the years, so I'm pretty familiar with the products, but I really am paralyzed by this project. Also, do you recommend someplace to scan in large items? Thanks for any help or ideas you can give.

I am interested in using Dropbox to get my photos for my albums. However, when i choose "dropbox" I cannot see the entire album of photos - I have to toggle back and forth between dropbox and ProjectLife to get one photo at a time. I'm sure I have missed a step here. Is there an easier way to sync dropbox and Project Life like your example where one can see all of the photos at once. It sure would make life easier.
Thanks in advance if you have any advice.

Hi there! Part 3 (Creating pages with the Project Life App) and Part 4 (Assembling the Pages in Your Book) are now up - Part 5 will deal with how to create a cover, and that should be up next week! To find any of the newest posts, check the homepage at becomingmartha.com or search "family photobooks" in the search bar. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the posts, and I hope next weeks post helps you out with your cover dilemma!

hi Sarah,

Love your website and am really enjoying your post of shutterfly photobooks but just wondered when part 3 and 4 will be on your website. I'm wanting to create myself but i'm having trouble customising the front cover and spine as lovely as you have on yours. the options seem quite limiting on shutterfly unless im missing something!

Many thanks
