I’m turning 50 at the end of this month and have been asked over and over for my birthday cake preference. The problem is that I’m also not a big fan of cake to begin with, and I’m usually caked out by my birthday. My entire household has October birthdays, and mine is last, so by the time my day rolls around I’ve long hit my limit on cake.

This, however, looks interesting. My boyfriend’s birthday is a few days before mine, and he LOVES lemon cake. I need to make this for his birthday, and could change up the flavor to make it again for my birthday.

It isn’t that sweet – a little tangy. I use all sorts of brands, and I dont find much difference. Usually it is the walmart brand or betty crocker. Hope that helps!

Not sure! It is made by Jello often, and there are store brands as well. It comes in a box like Jello and is sold in the same spot. Hope this helps!
