One of the hottest trends right now is handlettering – it’s everywhere! But whats a girl (or guy) to do if they loathe their handwriting, or just don’t have an eye for designing the piece? How can you get your hands on great Handlettered Cut Files?
Thankfully there are many lettering artists who have digitized their designs and made them available for download (some free, some for a low cost). The best part is you can use these with your Cricut! So you can cut that snarky hand lettered quote out of HTV and iron it on a shirt, or place a motivational vinyl decal on your water bottle. Sounds great, right?
Handlettered Cut Files: Where To Find Them
But where do you find these great files? That’s what I’m here to share with you.
Last month, I made beach bags for my daughters teachers and I wanted some cute hand lettered designs to go on the tote bags. I didn’t have time to do my own designs, so I searched the web for the perfect solution. I ended up going with these two, from Glitter Moonshine on Etsy:
While I was on the hunt, I found so many other great sources as well, so I thought I would gather them up and share them with you. Ready?

These amazing gals offer a ton of free cut files on their blog, and if you don’t find what you’re looking for there, you can head over to their Etsy store for even more selection.
Lemon Thistle
Colleen, over at Lemon Thistle, is an amazing handlettering artist. We even got to create these awesome handlettered pillow cases at the Cricut Maker launch last month in Utah. (They were headed for a women’s shelter, which made it even more special!) Colleen has the cutest cut files on her blog, but this Canadian themed one above is by far my favorite!

Persia Lou
It may be the fact that my daughter has gone absolutely nuts for unicorns lately, but I love this unicorn teacher cut file! Alexis’s only has a few cut files on her site yet, but what she does have are amazing. You will definitely want to follow her for new releases!
Glitter Moonshine
As I mentioned before, I bought a few of these to make our teacher bags. They were amazing! I really loved everything about them and will definitely be a return customer. They also have a great sale – 10 files for $10!
Printable Crush
One of the nice things about this blog is that while she offers up some free cut files, she also offers a huge selection of Cricut tutorials and how to create handlettered cut files yourself. Love that!
Love SVG
There are pages and pages of adorable SVGs here for you to choose from – some are illustrated, some aren’t, but you could always choose not to cut the illustrated portion if you wish. We have used a couple of these, like the She Believed She Could and they have turned out fabulous.
Palmetto SVG
This shop has a huge selection of cut files available as well, and I just noticed that you can purchase the entire shop (over 1000 files) for only $10. What a great deal! They also have a huge line of monograms, if you are looking for those!
Love Ria Charlotte

If after all of that, you still can’t find what you’re looking for, here are some design sites that also carry a great selection of SVGs that you can use in Cricut Design Space:
