Remember that super cute little cake that I showed you how to create in now time at all? Well, one of my favorite elements of it was the whimsical little cake topper that I created with washi tape, straws, and a little twine. I was so excited to be asked to share that craft and tutorial over at Washi Tape Crafts, a site that features everything Washi!
This is one of the most versatile cake toppers, and even little craft projects, that you can do. There are just so many ways you can use it. After I took it off her cake, I slipped the twine off the straw, snipped some of the extra twine, and used it to jazz up a frame in my daughters room. I also used one on a wreath for her birthday party. It’s such a simple way to jazz up an already wonderful, but simple, project.
