My friends and I try to host a monthly girls night – it’s a chance to catch up and escape our crazy lives, but I think it’s also an excuse to make the best appetizers and desserts possible. As super busy working moms, we never have any other reason to whip these dishes up, so it’s a fabulous
excuse reason to make them.
A couple of months ago, one of the girls made a smores dip with marshmallows and chocolate, and it was divine – the only problem was, it didn’t have one of my two requistite ingredients: cream cheese or peanut butter. So I was determined to fix that – hence, this post.
This is such an easy treat to whip up – you only need three ingredients to make this Peanut Butter Cup Smores Dip. Reese cups, melting chocolate, and marshmallows are all it takes.
All you need to do is layer the ingredients – first the peanut butter cups (my small baking dish took 9), then the chocolate (I used 9 chocolate molding wafers), and the marshmallows (I used 12, and cut them in half, so they weren’t so thick).
Bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes, until the marshmallows are all melty and golden brown on the top.
These are delicious served with graham crackers, chocolate wafers, or pretzels.
These are ooey gooey and so delicious! It was devoured quickly, so it’s safe to say it was a hit. It’s definitely something to try at your next get together or potluck – so be sure to whip this one up!
